Why We Are Building Novee

Attackers already move at machine speed. We are building Novee to give defenders the advantage back.

We are building Novee because security, as it exists today, is fundamentally misaligned with the world it’s meant to protect.

Software is now created at the speed of thought. Code is generated, refactored, and deployed in moments. Entire systems emerge from prompts. This shift has changed everything – not just how software is built, but how it is attacked.

Attackers understand this. They are already using AI to automate reconnaissance, discover weaknesses, and assemble exploits in seconds. Public research has shown real adversaries turning advanced coding models into attack machines. The advantage is shifting, fast.

Defenders, meanwhile, are stuck with a broken combination of approaches.

On one side are legacy security tools. They scan endlessly, generate alerts, and flood teams with findings – most of them detached from real exploitability or context. They were built for static systems and predictable threats, not living, constantly changing environments shaped by AI-generated code.

On the other side is manual penetration testing. Highly skilled humans, doing deep work, once or twice a year. These tests are valuable – but they are snapshots. The moment the test ends, the system changes. Code is regenerated. Infrastructure shifts. Permissions drift. What was secure last quarter may be exposed tomorrow.

Together, these two approaches create a dangerous illusion of coverage: tools that see everything but understand little, and humans who understand deeply but cannot scale. Neither can keep up with software that changes daily or attackers that move at machine speed.

This is how the balance tips.

In every conflict, advantage flows to whoever adapts fastest. Right now, the scales are moving toward the attackers. They iterate faster, probe continuously, and exploit gaps before defenders even know they exist.

We built Novee to restore balance and put defenders back in control.

Novee is an AI hacker built for defenders. It operates continuously, across any system, in any mode. It thinks like a real attacker – exploring, adapting, chaining weaknesses – but it exists to strengthen, not to break. Where traditional tools stop at detection, Novee goes further. It explains what matters, why it matters, and how to fix it – with validated remediation recommendations personalized to each system and tech stack, not generic advice.

This isn’t about replacing people or eliminating expertise. It’s about giving defenders a force multiplier that scales with modern software. In a world where attackers wield AI, defenders need AI that is just as capable, just as adaptive, and just as relentless.

Our models are trained with this dual purpose at their core – offensive creativity combined with defensive responsibility. Every insight is grounded in how attacks actually unfold and how real teams can respond.

We are not doing this alone. We are incredibly proud of the Novee team: world-class security operators and AI researchers with experience on both sides of real-world cyber operations, from finding zero-days and running national-scale red teams, to defending critical infrastructure and building advanced AI models.

We are exiting stealth with $51.5M raised in four months because this shift is happening now. The balance has already begun to tip. But it can be restored.

Security doesn’t have to fall behind innovation. The scales can be leveled, and the force can be brought back to the defenders.

That is why we are building Novee.
