About the Role


We’re building a new team at Novee that sits at the intersection of Solution Engineering, Customer Success, and Product - playing a critical role in helping customers successfully adopt our platform.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will take full ownership of Proof of Value (POV) processes, working directly with internal teams to ensure smooth, end-to-end execution in real-world environments.

This is a highly hands-on role, where you will be responsible for translating complex technical capabilities into real customer impact - directly influencing deal success and customer adoption. You’ll work closely with Sales, Solution Engineers, AI Engineers, and Platform  teams to bridge gaps between product capabilities and real-world use cases, building solutions that make the product work seamlessly for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute end-to-end POV (Proof of Value) processes - from initial setup to final validation and insights.
  • Work closely with Solution Engineers to understand customer requirements and technical scope.
  • Integrate the platform into customer environments and ensure smooth execution of workflows.
  • Perform manual and automated validations to ensure system accuracy and performance.
  • Identify gaps in product functionality and implement practical workarounds or scripts (e.g., Python).
  • Translate technical findings into clear insights that support demos and sales strategy.
  • Collaborate with AI Agents, Product, and Platform teams to improve product capabilities and workflows.
  • Support existing customers with technical troubleshooting, onboarding, and optimization.
  • Act as a key technical bridge between customers, product, and sales teams.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on technical skills, including experience with Python.
  • Experience working with LLMs, Prompt Engineering, or AI Agents.
  • Ability to understand systems, integrations, and workflows end-to-end.
  • Experience in cybersecurity - a strong advantage.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a “get things done” mindset.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • High ownership, independence, and willingness to go the extra mile.


Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with offensive security, application security, or infrastructure security.
  • Experience working with early-stage startups or building new processes from scratch.
